Employees and dependants covered by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) or other corporate panels empanelled with Apollo Hospitals, Bhat, Gandhinagar can have cancer surgery with Dr Harsh Shah and Dr Swati Shah on a panel or credit basis. Here is how approval and admission work.
Beneficiaries of organisations whose health scheme is empanelled with Apollo — including the Income Tax Department, Deendayal Port Trust, Power Grid Corporation, Indian Railways, IFFCO and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) — treated on the organisation’s referral or authorisation as per its rules.
Corporate panels approve the surgery and hospitalisation as per the organisation’s scheme and the sanctioned package. The robotic system charge is typically not covered and is a separate self-pay amount if the robotic technique is chosen. Open and laparoscopic surgery are covered without this extra.
