Employees, pensioners and dependant family members of the GUVNL group of companies are eligible for medical benefits under the GUVNL Medical Reimbursement Scheme, laid down in General Standing Order No. 6 (GSO-6). At Apollo Hospitals, Bhat, Gandhinagar, cancer surgery is performed by Dr Harsh Shah (GI & robotic cancer surgeon) and Dr Swati Shah (uro-gynaec cancer surgeon), and our team helps beneficiaries plan the admission and complete the scheme paperwork.
Regular employees of GUVNL and its subsidiary companies, their pensioners, and dependant family members as defined under the scheme (spouse, dependent unmarried children within the age limit, and dependent parents as per GSO-6).
Under the GUVNL Medical Reimbursement Scheme, hospitalisation and cancer surgery are reimbursed as per the scheme’s approved rates and rules. Surgeon, anaesthesia, operation-theatre and eligible investigations are covered; some non-medical and consumable items may be payable by the beneficiary. We provide a written estimate before admission so there are no surprises.
